In a reflection of Joanna’s vibrant personality and love for life, loved ones have requested that attendees wear some shade of pink to the visitation and funeral services. Pink was Joanna’s favorite color, and she would have preferred to see those gathered in bright, loving remembrance rather than traditional black attire.
The community is invited to attend the visitation on Sunday, June 14, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at River Woods Funeral Chapels, located at 205 South River Road in Des Plaines, Illinois. A Funeral Mass celebrating Joanna’s life will be held on Monday, June 15, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Colette Catholic Church in Rolling Meadows.
